Mary Nalubowa's Testimony
Maria was brought to Ray of hope medical centre suffering from a strange disease after being taken to many various hospitals and witchdoctors without any relief. She dropped out of school in senior two because of the sickness. Maria used to vomit all the time and was unable to eat anything for a long time. She was very tiny and very sick looking like she was dying anytime.
Her sister who lives near our home brought her to me at the clinic and told me she brought her because she knew I would treat her and also pray for her. From her history I knew the only thing to do was to trust God for Maria’s life.
I shared with her about the saving grace and mercy of God to heal. She accepted Christ and we prayed for her healing I gave her some water and she did not vomit so by God’s assurance I told her sister to take her home and bring her in the evening at church for more prayers and fellowship.
To God’s glory Maria was brought still weak but was taking fluids without vomiting she was excited about that miracle. Steadfastly God continued healing her she started eating food as well without any problem.
She gained her strength and was zealous to go back to school. We found a sponsor for her and she joined in the middle of the term after missing a number terms. She was the best student in class that very year and she maintained her grades all through. Completing senior four 2006 she was the best student in the whole school.
Completing senior six in 2008 she was among the best students in the entire country scoring 25 points she appeared in the newspapers. This year 2009 Maria is doing her first year pursuing a degree in Law at the Makerere University.
The sad thing was that Maria received her victory news in Mulago Hospital nursing her mother who was very sick. She passed away a few days later. God has given her the grace to cope up with the loss and she is happy at school.
